Christine Brown feels a deep sense of gratitude as she reflects on her past marriage to Kody Brown, now that she has found happiness with her new husband, David Woolley. In a video montage shared on Instagram on Sept. 9, the 52-year-old Sister Wives star looked back on the challenges she faced during her plural marriage.
The montage juxtaposed poignant moments of Christine wiping away tears with joyful scenes from her wedding to David. “Wishing life could be as easy as clicking our heels three times,” she wrote in her caption. “If only it were that simple to leave behind the toughest times.
But I know that even in the darkest moments, hope remains.” Christine encouraged her followers to believe in their own ability to find happiness, despite current difficulties. “It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. Keep believing and pushing forward—brighter days are ahead,” she added with optimism.
After revealing their relationship in February 2023, Christine and David wed in Utah that October, following Christine’s separation from Kody after 25 years of marriage. Christine and Kody share six children: Apsyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely, and Paedon.
Christine praised David in a September 2023 interview with PEOPLE, describing him as a man of integrity who built his business while raising his children as a single father. “His word is his bond,” she said, admiring his dedication. She expressed her joy in finding a partner like David, calling him a true soulmate. “He accepts me with all my problem,” she concluded, “and that’s the best part.”
