Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were all smiles during their recent date night in New York City. According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, the couple enjoyed a lively evening out at the popular Brooklyn pizza spot, Lucali, on Friday, September 6. This outing came just a day after Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs secured a win against the Baltimore Ravens in their NFL season opener.
“They were seated in the main dining area with other guests. Travis was really friendly and thanked everyone around him. Taylor looked gorgeous, and they appeared to be very happy together,” the source shared.

The “Karma” singer and the NFL star, both 34, were seen holding hands as they entered and exited the restaurant, as captured in several videos posted by fans on X (formerly Twitter). For the occasion, Swift wore a stylish oversized black blazer over a sheer top, complemented by black shorts and knee-high heeled boots. Kelce opted for striped pants, a casual sweater vest, and a black cap.
The couple was also spotted the previous day holding hands as they left Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, following the Chiefs’ 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. They then headed to Prime Social with several of Kelce’s teammates for an afterparty, a source told PEOPLE.
“Everyone had a blast. Travis and Taylor both relaxed and enjoyed themselves,” the insider revealed about the event. Swift cheered for Kelce and his teammates at Thursday’s game, wearing a Versace corseted denim crop top, jean shorts, and red thigh-high Giuseppe Zanotti boots. She was also seen sharing a hug with Kelce’s mother, Donna, as they watched the game together.
Currently, the Grammy winner is taking a brief break following the conclusion of the European leg of her Eras Tour in mid-August. She will resume touring in mid-October with additional shows. Kelce has shown support for Swift throughout her tour, attending several of her concerts, and even joined her on stage during her June 23 performance at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The pair first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 before making their relationship public in October 2023 when they were seen holding hands at a Saturday Night Live afterparty. Swift later attended several of Kelce’s games, including the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11.
