On The Drew Barrymore Show, Dax discussed the most exciting rumor about him and Kristen, which was that they were swingers hosting wild parties. He shared that his Hollywood friends found the rumor amusing and sent him playful messages about missing out on these imaginary events.

Dax recalled receiving texts from friends like Jimmy Kimmel, who humorously expressed their hurt feelings for not being invited to the fictional parties. He made it clear that despite the rumors, he and Kristen are strictly monogamous.
Reflecting on his past, Dax admitted to having been in an open relationship before meeting Kristen, which initially caused some tension. He revealed that his previous experiences and struggles with addiction were sources of concern for Kristen.
When they first met in 2007 at a birthday party for mutual friend Shauna Robertson, Kristen initially felt no spark. She humorously remembered thinking, “This guy can talk!” about Dax during their first encounter at a sushi restaurant.
Their relationship progressed two weeks later at a hockey game, where they began to show mutual interest. Kristen recalled receiving a text from Dax saying, “Hi, my name is Dax. I violated your privacy and got your number from Shauna. How do you feel about that?”
This message sparked her interest and marked the start of their romance. Now, Dax and Kristen live together in their $4.3 million LA mansion with their daughters, Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9.
