Jonathon Johnson has expressed heartfelt support for his former flame. After his elimination from Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette on August 28, Jonathon took to social media to share his admiration for Jenn and affirm his support for her participation in Dancing With the Stars.
On September 5, Jonathon posted a series of photos with Jenn on Instagram, stating, “I am so incredibly honored to have been a part of Jenn’s journey! She has been an inspiration to women everywhere, and I’m so proud of the way she carried herself throughout this process.”
Jonathon took a swipe at Jenn’s ex-fiancé, apologizing for the negativity that impacted her experience
Reflecting on Jenn’s recent breakup with Devin Strader—who ended their engagement via a brief phone call—Jonathon praised her composure. “She experienced a situation on a national scale that I would never want to see someone go through. But this WOMAN walked on stage, with her head held high, and handled herself with so much class and beauty that my jaw is on the floor,” he remarked.
Looking ahead, Jonathon is excited about the prospect of reuniting with Jenn when she visits Los Angeles, where he lives, during her DWTS competition. “I know we talked about it a little bit already but I’m stoked to have you here in LA for a little,” he said. “I know we’ll have some time to make some really awesome memories!”
He also took a moment to criticize Jenn’s ex-fiancé. “I am so sorry that someone had the opportunity to take even a little of the positivity of this experience away from you!” Jonathon concluded his post. “You deserve the world, Jennifer Tran!”
Jenn, on her part, is looking forward to new beginnings following her televised breakup. “I’m excited it’s over with, and I’m excited to look forward to the future and this amazing time in my life now,” Jenn shared with E! News on September 4. “To be able to get to do something that I’ve always wanted to do.”
