As the co-anchor of the Today Show’s third hour, Dylan Dreyer has seized the opportunity to enjoy a daytime outing with her husband now that her three children are back in school and her workday ends by midday.
On Tuesday, September 10, Dylan and her husband, Brian Fichera, spent some time at a local movie theater to watch the latest film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Dylan shared a glimpse of their day out on Instagram, capturing the moment with a selfie in the quiet theater.
Brian, seen with a large bucket of popcorn on his lap, and Dylan, 43, dressed casually in a mint green tee while Brian sported a backwards baseball cap and a striped shirt, looked relaxed and happy. Fans appreciated the peek into Dylan and Brian’s date day, with many expressing their own fondness for afternoon outings with a partner.
Dylan, mother to three boys—Rusty, two, Oliver, four, and Calvin, seven—also shares her home with Bosco, their 13-year-old dog. Recently, Dylan posted a series of cute photos of her sons in their back-to-school outfits.
In her caption, Dylan expressed amazement at how quickly her children are growing up and reflected on the blessings of spending each day with them. She also celebrated the start of the new school year. The photos highlighted the boys’ fresh haircuts, a result of Dylan taking them to the barber to tidy up their “summer mops” in preparation for school.
Throughout the summer, the family enjoyed multiple vacations, including a final trip in August before the school year commenced. Dylan shared moments from their vacation mode, showing the boys having fun in the water. Their summer adventures included trips to Turks and Caicos with Brian’s extended family and to Nevada for the American Century Championship, where they supported golf players.
Dylan has previously mentioned to HELLO! that she feels “maxed out” with her three sons and has no plans to expand her family. She shared her regret at not starting to have children sooner, expressing how much she enjoys motherhood and the patience she has developed as a mom.
