On September 2, the HGTV star shared a video of her and ex-husband Ant Anstead’s 4-year-old son, Hudson, at his first soccer practice. The footage, showing Hudson kicking a ball with other kids, was also sent to his dad.
Christina, 41, posted the clip on her Instagram Stories, tagging Ant’s account and captioning it, “First soccer practice, ever! Natural.” This update comes over a year after the former couple, who were married from 2018 to 2021, went through a custody dispute over Hudson.

In April 2022, Ant, who has children Amelie, 19, and Archie, 18, from a previous marriage, sought sole custody of Hudson, accusing Christina of exploiting their son in paid social media promotions—a claim she denied.
By the following April, Christina, who has children Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 9, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, described the custody battle as “extremely unnecessary.” Reflecting on the situation, she admitted to past mistakes but asserted in an Instagram post, “I know what I’ve done right… I know with all my heart my kids love me… and I know I’m a good mom… Life is crazy, but being a mama makes it all worth it. Alllll of it.”
