Kimberly Guilfoyle’s public life includes her connections with prominent politicians, an extensive career in law and media, a brief modeling stint, and a Fox News scandal from 2017. Since 2016, Guilfoyle has been closely linked with the Trump family and campaign, becoming engaged to Donald Trump Jr. in 2020.
Recently, DailyMail.com reported that Trump Jr. was seen sharing an intimate moment with Bettina Anderson, a 37-year-old socialite from Palm Beach, during a brunch at The Honor Bar in Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana Plaza on August 17. Observers noted that Anderson kissed Don Jr. three times, despite Guilfoyle’s absence.
Kimberly Guilfoyle, who earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1994, supported herself through law school by juggling multiple jobs. She worked as an intern, at a clothing store, and as a lingerie and fashion model, according to Cosmopolitan. Her modeling work appeared in local department stores like Macy’s and featured Victoria’s Secret lingerie in bridal magazines.
Guilfoyle’s political interest began in 1995 when she worked on the reelection campaign for district attorney Arlo Smith and attended fundraisers hosted by oil billionaire Gordon Getty, dating his son William briefly.
After her split with Getty, she progressed in her political career through her relationship with Gavin Newsom, then a San Francisco city supervisor. They married in 2004 but divorced in 2006 following revelations of Newsom’s affair with Ruby Rippey-Tourk, the wife of his former deputy chief of staff.
While serving as a prosecutor in San Francisco, Guilfoyle had a contentious interaction with Kamala Harris, who was then supervising the Career Criminal Unit. Guilfoyle claimed Harris told her there were no funds available for her rehire, a claim Harris disputes, stating she never discouraged Guilfoyle from joining the office.
Guilfoyle transitioned to broadcast media in 2004 as a legal analyst on Anderson Cooper 360 and joined Fox News in February 2006. She co-hosted The Five starting in 2011 and had a long-term contract with Fox until mid-2017. She left the network in July 2018 despite a sexual harassment investigation, which resulted in a settlement of at least $4 million.
Despite the fallout from the #MeToo movement, Guilfoyle continued to pursue opportunities, including a position with a pro-Donald Trump super PAC, and was previously considered for press secretary by Trump in 2016. She began dating Donald Trump Jr. in mid-2018, with their engagement announced on December 31, 2020, and publicly revealed in January 2022.
Critics have labeled Guilfoyle as “loud and annoying” and criticized her for making private matters public. Despite recent rumors involving Don Jr., the couple was seen together at a Rumble Creators event in Morning View, Kentucky, maintaining a facade of normalcy.
