Recent outings by Jenn Tran and Jonathon Johnson have intensified speculation about their relationship status. Both attended People’s 50th birthday celebration on Friday, where they were seen together on the red carpet at The Chain House in Los Angeles.
Jenn chose a sophisticated black strapless dress paired with strappy heels, while Jonathon opted for a casual look with a white T-shirt and light-wash jeans. His accessories, including a black leather belt and matching shoes, complemented Jenn’s outfit. Jonathon shared a photo from the event on Instagram with the song “Already Best Friends” by Jack Harlow, adding in the caption, “The song speaks for itself.”
He was also spotted supporting Jenn at her “Dancing with the Stars” debut on September 17. Seated in the front row with Bachelor Nation alums Susie Evans and Justin Glaze, as well as Chloe Veitch from “Love Is Blind,” Jonathon cheered for Jenn as she performed with pro partner Sasha Farber.
Since their reunion in California following the September 3 airing of “The Bachelorette” finale, Jenn and Jonathon have sparked rumors with their flirtatious TikTok videos. Jonathon posted a TikTok on September 7 joking about a past heartbreak, noting, “All good, I’m not holding a grudge.”
In separate podcast appearances, Jenn and Jonathon have addressed their relationship status. Jenn, speaking on the “Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe” podcast, expressed her desire to maintain friendships from her season of “The Bachelorette” and emphasized that there is no romantic intention with Jonathon or her other former contestants.
Jonathon, on “The Viall Files,” discussed the challenges of transitioning from a public relationship to a private one. He admitted feeling that his elimination from “The Bachelorette” left him feeling undervalued. Although he acknowledged the potential for future exploration of their relationship, he and Jenn have not seriously discussed it.
Jenn revealed on “Off the Vine” that long-distance issues contributed to their initial separation. She explained that Jonathon’s reluctance to commit to a long-distance relationship and her own reluctance to relocate made their relationship untenable. Jonathon agreed, stating that the connection between them was insufficient.
Jonathon finished third on Jenn’s season of “The Bachelorette,” behind Devin Strader and Marcus Shoberg. Reflecting on his time on the show, he noted that a lack of depth in their relationship became apparent during Fantasy Suite dates, contributing to his eventual departure. Despite their current status, Jonathon has been invited to consider appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise” if things do not work out with Jenn.
