Kay Adams took the opportunity on Thursday to put to rest ongoing rumors that have been swirling since the beginning of the 2024-25 NFL season, linking her romantically with New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.
The speculation began back during training camp when Jones appeared on the Kay Adams Show. During their conversation, Adams seemed particularly intrigued by Jones’ beard, asking multiple questions and even suggesting that the new look gave him “an edge” on the field.
She further explained that she’s only met Jones twice and has no personal relationship with him, despite the internet rumors
Rumors gained further traction just before Week 1 when Adams interviewed Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor. In a playful exchange, she joked that Eluemunor needed to “protect her boy,” adding fuel to the fire for those who believed the rumors.
Adams quipped, “You gotta protect your boy, my boy; the internet thinks, my boy,” before laughing it off and adding, “I don’t even wanna get into it… I’m just trying to hype up your boy. Is he keeping the beard? Go protect my boyfriend.” Her remarks clearly leaned into the speculation, though lightheartedly.
However, while appearing on The 25/10 Show with hosts LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson, Adams finally cleared the air, dismissing any notion of a romantic link with Jones. She clarified, “When I told Jermaine Eluemunor to protect my boyfriend, it was a joke.
The internet ran with the idea that Daniel and I might be involved, but let me set the record straight: I’m not dating Daniel Jones. In fact, I’ve only met him twice. Wishing him all the best, though—I’m pretty sure he already has a girlfriend.”
