Lance Bass delighted fans with a throwback to the ’90s by running into a couple of familiar faces from Full House. On Sunday, Sept. 22, the *NSYNC singer, now 45, posted a humorous skit on his Instagram featuring Jodie Sweetin, who portrayed Stephanie Tanner on Full House, and Andrea Barber, who played Kimmy Gibbler, D.J. Tanner’s quirky best friend.
Bass playfully captioned the post, “When a quick stop on the road turns into a ‘90s sitcom mash-up.” In the video, Bass jokingly pretends to collide with the two actresses, lip-syncing to an audio clip that says, “Hey, watch it!” before Sweetin and Barber spin around, replying with an exaggerated “Oops, sorry!” accompanied by sitcom-style laughter and applause.

He captioned the fun moment with, “The crossover you didn’t know you wanted.” Though both Full House and NSYNC had their moments in the ’90s spotlight, the two franchises have found renewed fame in recent times.
In December 2016, Full House was revived with a reboot series called Fuller House, focusing on D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) raising her three boys, alongside her sister Stephanie (Sweetin) and her best friend Kimmy (Barber).
The series also featured cameos from original cast members like Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin).
Sweetin and Barber have shared that their friendship only grew stronger, both during the original series and throughout the Netflix reboot. On a June episode of their rewatch podcast, How Rude, Tanneritos!, the pair discussed how hard it was to stay in character during some of their funny scenes.
“We constantly cracked each other up,” Sweetin admitted. “There were always goofy moments between Stephanie and Kimmy — especially on Fuller House.” She went on, “We’d sometimes be dressed in ridiculous outfits, and I’d say, ‘Just look at my forehead, not my eyes. If you look at my face, we’ll lose it.’”
Sweetin added, “The forehead trick is a great way to keep from breaking character.” Meanwhile, NSYNC has also enjoyed a resurgence thanks to their hit “Bye Bye Bye,” which was featured in the soundtrack for the movie Deadpool & Wolverine.
This past summer, the song climbed back into the Top 10 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart following the July 26 release of the film. According to Billboard, “Bye Bye Bye” moved up from No. 16 to No. 8, highlighting its continued appeal.
The NSYNC members JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Bass attended the New York premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine on July 22, joined by actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. After the event, Reynolds expressed his appreciation to the boy band for allowing their music to be featured in the film.
“These guys helped make one of my favorite scenes in Deadpool & Wolverine,” Reynolds said on social media after the premiere. “Their generosity, talent, and camaraderie mean the world to me.”
