The accusers of DeMario Jackson are seeking a seven-figure default judgment against the former Bachelorette contestant, as revealed exclusively by In Touch.
Court documents acquired by In Touch indicate that the two women, referred to as Jane Doe no. 1 and Jane Doe no. 2, are requesting $500,000 each for their suffering. Additionally, they are asking for $35,000 to cover medical expenses, lost wages, and future medical needs.
In 2022, Jane Doe no. 1 and Jane Doe no. 2 filed their lawsuit against the 37-year-old, alleging sexual assault, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. As part of their request for a default judgment against DeMario, they submitted declarations detailing their experiences.
Jane Doe no. 1 recounted meeting DeMario in 2018 via a dating app. She described a shocking first date when DeMario exposed himself while they were in his car. “I was shocked and felt trapped.
In an attempt to set boundaries, I told [DeMario] that his behavior was unacceptable. [He] apologized, and based on what I perceived as a sincere apology, I agreed to continue seeing [him].”
On February 16, 2018, she said DeMario showed up at her location intoxicated, leading her to take him to her place to rest. As she was dozing off, she was abruptly awakened when DeMario “flung his body on top of mine and attempted to kiss me forcefully.”
In her declaration, Doe no. 1 stated, “Summoning as much strength as I could muster, I forcefully pushed him off me. I clearly expressed that I would not engage in sexual activity and did not consent to it. [DeMario] pinned me down on the bed.”
She further described her helplessness, saying, “I could not move my arms or my head. I screamed ‘NO’ repeatedly to no avail. [DeMario] then forcefully sexually assaulted me, violently penetrating me without protection. As he continued, I began to cry. Once he finished, I demanded he leave my home, and he complied.”
Jane Doe no. 2 shared that she met DeMario on Instagram in July 2022. She stated that he invited her to his home for wine, where they shared drinks.
Although she had a few, she claimed she was never seriously intoxicated. Initially, they kissed, but she informed him she was menstruating and did not wish to engage in vaginal intercourse. Instead, she consented to anal sex.
However, she recounted, “While we were having anal sex, [DeMario] forcefully sexually assaulted me by violently penetrating me without protection while my tampon remained inside. He proceeded to vaginally rape me. My vaginal bleeding increased, and once he finished, I left and drove to a friend’s house.”
She added, “I have sustained permanent and ongoing injury to my nervous system and body, causing me mental, physical, and emotional pain, suffering, fright, upset, grief, worry, and shock.” DeMario has denied the allegations.
“Four years ago, I, DeMario Jackson, went directly to the Los Angeles police station after being falsely accused of raping two white women without legal representation, and the police allowed me to leave freely,” he stated.
“The reason is that my arriving and departing Uber receipts confirmed the time and place I was with these women, showing I was nowhere near the incident,” he continued.
DeMario also noted, “I provided screenshots of text messages from the day after the women filed their police reports. The authorities reviewed all my evidence and permitted me, a six-foot-four Black man, to leave that precinct without hesitation because I did no wrong. I am innocent; I did not harm those women.”
