Legal Strategy: Diddy’s Accuser Aims to Deliver Papers at Brooklyn Correctional Facility

Diddy Remains Jailed as Thalia Graves Files New Assault Allegations

Thalia Graves, the latest individual to accuse Diddy, is swiftly taking action to serve the disgraced mogul at the Brooklyn prison where he has been held following a denial of bond, as reported exclusively by In Touch.

Court documents reveal that Thalia, 48, along with her legal team, which includes prominent attorney Gloria Allred, intends to deliver the legal papers directly to Diddy, 54, at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

Lawsuit Claims Diddy and Joseph Recorded Assault to Humiliate Victim

Since his arrest on September 16, Diddy has remained incarcerated. Federal agents apprehended him at his New York hotel on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

Two different judges denied Diddy’s request for a $50 million bond, citing serious concerns regarding his potential flight risk. Prosecutors emphasized that he possesses the means to flee and could intimidate witnesses involved in the case, leading the judge to side with the government and reject the bond request.

Now, Thalia is utilizing Diddy’s new address to advance her case. This week, she filed a lawsuit against Diddy in federal court, alleging that he and his head of security, Joseph Sherman, sexually assaulted her at the Bad Boy Records studio in New York during the summer of 2001.

Thalia described how her life was “violently knocked off course” as a result of the incident. According to the lawsuit, “Thalia was 25 at the time and dating one of [Diddy’s] employees, a relationship that [Diddy] exploited to lure [Thalia] into meeting him and [Joseph] alone.

Once they successfully sequestered [Thalia], [Diddy] and [Joseph] gave her a drink, likely laced with a drug that caused her to briefly lose consciousness. She awoke to find herself bound and restrained.”

In her allegations, Thalia stated that the two men proceeded to subject her to a brutal sexual assault, with Diddy reportedly attacking her “mercilessly” while Joseph “forcefully slammed” her onto a table and slapped her during the ordeal.

She claimed that “both men were undeterred by” her cries for help throughout the assault, expressing that she has “never recovered” from the experience. Her lawyer noted, “She remained silent and did not report the crime out of fear that the defendants would use their power to ruin her life, as they had repeatedly threatened to do. To this day, [Thalia] suffers from severe depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, and still lives in fear of the defendants.”

To compound the distress, Thalia stated that in November 2023, she learned that Diddy and Joseph had recorded the alleged assault and shared the video with multiple men, intending to publicly degrade and humiliate both her and her boyfriend.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.

In a separate development, In Touch reported that Diddy’s former artist, Dawn Richard, filed her own lawsuit against him this month, claiming that she had to plead for food, only to be provided with peanut butter shakes. Diddy denied her allegations shortly before his arrest.

Erica Wolff, one of Diddy’s attorneys, expressed to In Touch, “Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has manufactured a series of false claims in hopes of securing a payday—timed conveniently with her album release and press tour. If Ms. Richard had such a negative experience with Making the Band and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to continue working directly with Mr.

Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the Making the Band reboot in 2020 or agreed to be featured on The Love Album last year. It’s unfortunate that Ms. Richard has chosen to cast aside their 20-year friendship in pursuit of money, but Mr. Combs is confident in the truth and looks forward to proving it in court.”
