Phoebe Gates recently offered a look into a night out with her boyfriend, Arthur Donald. On Friday, September 27, she shared an Instagram post featuring snapshots from the previous evening at The Albies.
Donald, 25, is one of Paul McCartney’s grandchildren, and the pair was seen enjoying the event together. Phoebe, the daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, highlighted the special night with her photos.
In one of the pictures, 22-year-old Phoebe is captured posing outdoors in a stylish brown gown with a mock cowl neckline. Her look was completed with bronze pointed-toe pumps and accessorized with dazzling diamond jewelry, including earrings and bracelets, which she mentioned were from Cartier.

Another photo shows Donald holding Phoebe’s hand while wearing a silver Cartier watch with a leather band, tagged in the post. The couple also posed for a shot where Phoebe’s hand rested on Donald’s black tuxedo jacket, while he placed his hand on her waist. The post concluded with a final shot displaying the elegant back of Phoebe’s dress.
Phoebe expressed her gratitude in the caption, acknowledging her attendance at the third annual Albie Awards, an event hosted by George and Amal Clooney for the Clooney Foundation for Justice. She thanked Cartier for the opportunity to join their esteemed guests and praised the Clooneys for their efforts in advancing justice.
Dating rumors about Phoebe and Donald began in October 2023 after she shared a picture of them together on her Instagram with the caption “Paris on film.” The couple also made a public appearance in January 2024 at the premiere of Feud: Capote vs. The Swans at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
