Travis Kelce celebrated his 35th birthday in Kansas City on Saturday, Oct. 5, surrounded by family and friends after hosting his annual Kelce Car Jam. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end marked the occasion in his hometown, kicking off the day with the charity event that benefits his Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation.

Comedian Zac Townsend was one of the many attendees and shared some moments from the event on Instagram, featuring pictures with Kelce, his brother Jason, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

One of the photos showed Kelce throwing up a peace sign while standing next to Townsend. Another image captured Townsend with Jason Kelce, and a third showed him alongside Mahomes in a casual lounge setting.

Townsend captioned the Instagram post with “Kansas City” and offered more glimpses of the festivities on his Instagram Stories, including a snapshot of him with Jason and Kylie Kelce, adding the playful caption “Go birds!” in reference to Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles.

Earlier that day, Kelce attended the fundraiser with his parents, Donna and Ed, as well as Jason, Kylie, Patrick, and Brittany Mahomes. Addressing the crowd, Travis expressed his hopes for a victory in the upcoming Chiefs game. “How about we go get a win on Monday night? Sound good?” he said, looking forward to the team’s match against the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 7.

When asked about his birthday wish, Kelce told PEOPLE that his biggest desire is “Another Super Bowl!” as he continues to chase another championship with the Chiefs.

Kelce admitted that his first few games this season hadn’t lived up to expectations, blaming limited opportunities for his lower-than-usual stats. However, in Week 4, Kelce bounced back by recording 89 yards in the Chiefs’ thrilling win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Recently, Kelce also took on a new challenge, making his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s series Grotesquerie. He portrayed a nurse caring for a character played by Niecy Nash-Betts. In the episode that aired on Oct. 2, Kelce’s character revealed a backstory involving addiction recovery and a stint as a male stripper before relocating to Alaska.
