Paul Mescal clearly shows his admiration for Gracie Abrams. On Saturday, October 5, the 28-year-old Normal People star was seen at Abrams’ concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, enthusiastically supporting her by dancing and singing along during her set. According to a source for PEOPLE, “they’re going strong.”
PEOPLE reached out to representatives for Abrams for additional comments, while a spokesperson for Mescal declined to provide any statements.
Romance rumors between the pair first surfaced in June when TMZ published photos of them enjoying lunch together in London. Shortly after that, they were spotted holding hands during another outing in the city, according to Deuxmoi and the Daily Mail.
In mid-August, the couple seemed to confirm their relationship when Abrams playfully bit Mescal’s hand while they were out walking in London. At that time, a source for PEOPLE mentioned that “they’ve been hooking up and it’s still early stages.”
The “Close to You” singer and the Gladiator 2 star also attended the All Points East Festival in London in August, where Mescal was observed cuddling Abrams while they watched Mitski perform in Victoria Park.
Abrams’ concert at Radio City Music Hall was part of her The Secret of Us tour, which will make stops in cities like Boston, Philadelphia, and Portland, Oregon, before she rejoins Taylor Swift for the final leg of the Eras Tour.
Earlier in January, Abrams shared her thoughts with PEOPLE about touring with Swift, saying, “Being a part of that tour in a tiny way has changed the course of my life in so many ways.”
She added, “She’s just the most unbelievable performer and the most generous friend. It’s not lost on me that her belief in me has really just…done a lot. So I’m deeply grateful to her, forever.”
