Olivia Munn offered a parenting update that many can relate to now that she’s adjusting to life with two children. Over the weekend, the Newsroom actress posted several updates to her Instagram Stories, giving a glimpse of her experience managing both a toddler and a newborn.
“This is proof that I made it through last night,” Munn wrote, according to People, alongside a selfie showing her visibly tired expression. She added, “Having a toddler and a newborn at the same time is not for the faint of heart.”
On September 22, Munn shared the news that she and her husband John Mulaney welcomed their second child, Méi June Mulaney, on September 14 through surrogacy.
Reflecting on the experience, she wrote about the emotions she felt in not being able to carry her daughter herself. “When I first met our gestational surrogate, we spoke mother to mother. She showed me such kindness and understanding that I knew I had found a true angel.”
Expressing gratitude, Munn continued, “There are no words to describe how thankful I am that she kept our baby safe for nine months and helped make our dreams come true. I’m incredibly proud of my little plum, my little dragon, for making the journey to be with us.” Her post ended on an emotional note, adding, “My heart has exploded.”
