The Bure Kids Have Grown Into Gorgeous Adults

The Bure Kids with the 'Full House'

The late 1980s welcomed “Full House,” a sitcom that would eventually gain widespread recognition and remain beloved years after its debut. During its eight-season run, viewers were attracted by standout performances, including John Stamos as Uncle Jesse and the Olsen twins as Michelle Tanner.

Among the show’s familiar faces was Candace Cameron Bure, who portrayed D.J. Tanner. She not only reprised her role in the sequel, “Fuller House,” but also maintained public visibility through her commitment to motherhood.

Candace married Valeri Bure, a former professional ice hockey player, in 1996, and the couple became parents to three children: Natasha, Lev, and Maksim Bure. Outside of her acting career, Candace prioritized family life, as she explained during a 2016 interview with L.A. Parent.

“Being a mom is my biggest priority,” she shared, emphasizing that her goal as a parent was to raise responsible, kind, and thoughtful individuals. The Bure children have since pursued personal accomplishments in both entertainment and sports, reflecting their mother’s influence.

Natasha Valerievna Bure, born on August 15, 1998, is the eldest of the siblings and followed her mother’s footsteps into the entertainment industry. Instead of avoiding the spotlight, Candace encouraged Natasha’s early involvement in show business, beginning with commercials. One of her early projects included a commercial for the toy brand Whimzy Pets.

Transitioning from commercials to television roles, Natasha eventually appeared as an extra in “Make It or Break It” and “The Heart of Christmas” by 2011. After working alongside her mother in “Switched for Christmas,” she gained roles in projects like “Faith, Hope & Love” and “Home Sweet Home.”

In response to assumptions that her career was influenced by her family connections, Natasha clarified during a 2022 interview with Today that her success was earned through personal effort. “I work hard for everything I do, just like everyone else chasing their dreams,” she remarked.

In addition to acting, Natasha demonstrated musical talent by auditioning for The Voice in 2016. Singing Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” she impressed judge Adam Levine and received positive feedback from other judges, including Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.

Despite not advancing past the battle rounds, Natasha later admitted during a 2024 podcast appearance that she was dissatisfied with her performance, saying, “I have nightmares about it. I felt like I sounded terrible after the first few seconds.”

Natasha also pursued other interests outside acting. Following her high school graduation, she opted not to attend college, instead focusing on both her acting career and another childhood aspiration—writing. In 2017, she published her first book, Let’s Be Real: Living Life As An Open And Honest You.

This book explored the challenges of adolescence and adulthood, drawing from her personal experiences. During an interview with Justine Magazine, Natasha expressed her desire to share stories that could resonate with young readers, hoping they would feel less alone in their struggles.

Natasha has explored various ventures beyond acting, including collaborations with her family. In 2020, she and her mother partnered with 31 Bits, a jewelry brand supporting women in Uganda, to create a collection featuring rose gold necklaces. Reflecting on the experience, Natasha expressed her excitement: “It’s amazing to design jewelry with my mom—it’s been a dream come true.”

While Natasha tends to keep her personal life private, details about her relationships surfaced in 2024. After appearing on Bradley Steven Perry’s YouTube channel, rumors of their romance spread when they confirmed their relationship on Instagram. Natasha later shared on Perry’s podcast that their connection deepened after she reached out to him following a car accident he experienced in late 2023.

Lev Valerievich Bure, Candace and Valeri’s second child, was born on February 20, 2000. Although he largely stayed out of the spotlight, Lev occasionally appeared on his sister’s YouTube channel and made headlines when Candace proudly shared his academic achievements. In 2018, she celebrated his high school graduation on Instagram, and by 2022, Lev had earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Liberty University.

Lev’s personal life also garnered public attention, especially his relationships. In 2018, his prom photos with Bella Robertson from “Duck Dynasty” sparked interest. After their relationship ended, Lev got engaged to Taylor Hutchison, though the engagement was later called off. He eventually found love with Elliott Dunham, and the two married in January 2024, with Candace sharing her joy on Instagram: “We gained a beautiful daughter, and I couldn’t be happier.”

Maksim Valerievich Bure, the youngest of the Bure siblings, was born on January 20, 2002. Raised with a degree of privacy, Maksim initially seemed unaware of his mother’s fame until middle school. Candace once shared a story about how her role as D.J. Tanner unexpectedly helped Maksim make friends, explaining, “One day, he came home and said, ‘Mom, everyone at school thinks it’s so cool that you’re D.J. Tanner.’”

These anecdotes offer a view at the lives of Candace Cameron Bure’s children, showcasing their individual paths and family dynamics. From acting careers to meaningful partnerships, the Bure siblings have each embarked on their own journeys, embracing opportunities while sailing through life in the public eye.
