After showcasing a stunning red Oscar de la Renta gown at the London premiere, Selena Gomez has made a stylish return to her all-black press tour wardrobe. Last night in New York City, she was spotted in a chic ensemble featuring a black rosette top, a long coat, belted trousers, and heels, while her hair flowed down in elegant curls.
The previous day, she attended a SAG-AFTRA event for the film, donning a sophisticated black blazer over a white ruffle minidress by Francesca Miranda. “Emilia Pérez” is set to hit select theaters on November 1 and will begin streaming on Netflix starting November 13.
Alongside her film promotion, Gomez has been candid about her mental health struggles. On World Mental Health Day earlier this month, she delivered a keynote address at a summit organized by her mental fitness platform, Wondermind.
During her talk, Gomez reflected on the challenges of paparazzi attention and how she manages anxiety. “I am a very anxious person,” she shared. “It’s like doomsday. I find that having a positive internal dialogue, even if it sounds strange, is truly impactful.
Before I step out of the car, especially when I anticipate loud noises and distractions—though that’s not every day—I take a moment to breathe and remind myself, ‘All of this is a gift. I may not feel like it, but making someone smile always brightens my day, no matter my mood.’”
