In a heartfelt manner, Ryan Gosling makes Eva Mendes feel attractive. During a Thursday, October 17, interview with the UK newspaper The Times, the actress, entrepreneur, and children’s book author discussed her role as the face of Stella McCartney’s winter 2024 campaign, revealing how her long-term partner, 43, enhances her sense of sensuality.
Mendes, 50, shared, “I feel really f—— se*xy at times. The way my man looks at me is just … at times I’m like, oh my God. That might not sit well with people, but so much of how I feel is a reflection of what he’s giving me.”
She went on to explain, “There are many things that can make me feel se*xy, and I’d say I feel more se*xy than not. I guess because I’ve never considered myself beautiful, but I’ve always felt very se*xy.”
In a different part of the interview, Mendes revealed that she “was never in love with acting.” She clarified, “I don’t mean this in a self-deprecating way, but I wasn’t a great actress. I had my moments when I worked with really great people.”
Among her proudest achievements is the film she made with Gosling, The Place Beyond the Pines, as she mentioned, “He gets something out of me that’s never been accessible before.”
Back in May, Mendes shared with PEOPLE how Gosling has been a source of support throughout the years. While she refrained from disclosing specific details, she affirmed that he is her advocate.
“I’m not going to tell you that, but in all the ways I need to be supported,” she said in May, adding, “He’s got me in all the ways.” Gosling reciprocates this sentiment. Also in May, he told Extra that Mendes, the mother of his children, is his biggest supporter in his acting career.
“She is with the girls, and when she works, I stay home with the girls too,” Gosling explained. “I couldn’t be here without her.” Additionally, he remarked, “She’s also like my acting coach. She has really become the best acting coach I have ever had; it’s endless how she helps me.”
