Kim Kardashian found herself both amused and perplexed by the gift her daughter North West gave her for her 44th birthday. On October 21, the SKIMS founder shared a video showing off a diamond necklace that North, 11, had chosen for the occasion.
What made the gift unusual was the engraving on the front, which read “Skibidi Toilet.” Kardashian could be heard laughing in the clip as she said, “North got me this diamond necklace that says ‘Skibidi Toilet.’ Wow.” Holding the rectangular pendant closer to the camera, Kardashian zoomed in to give followers a better view of the engraving.
North chimed in during the video to explain that the other side of the necklace was inscribed with “Love North” along with the date of the gift. When Kardashian playfully asked if she really liked Skibidi Toilet, a viral YouTube series by Alexey Gerasimov, North enthusiastically confirmed, “Yes!”
In earlier posts, Kardashian gave a peek into how she spent her special day at home. Her children—North, Chicago, 6, Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5—decorated the house with balloons, attaching photos and heartfelt messages to streamers hanging from the ceiling.
Kardashian recorded the scene, saying, “Look what Chi Chi and the kids made for me. They filled the room with balloons and sweet notes.” She walked around the dining room, picking up the pictures and reading some of the handwritten messages aloud, visibly touched by the thoughtful surprise.
Another playful birthday moment was captured in a later video, where Kardashian showed balloons with her face printed on them. She asked North if she had made them, to which her daughter responded with a smile, “I didn’t make them … but I bought them for you!”
The day before, Kardashian had kicked off her birthday celebrations early by sharing photos of herself in a figure-hugging nude dress. She jokingly referred to it as her “birthday suit” and attended the event on October 20 wearing Diesel’s D-Rooney slip dress, which combines a fitted bodice with a semi-sheer skirt and retails for $2,081.
