Kristin Cavallari isn’t shy about sharing her bold experiences. During the October 22 episode of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, the Laguna Beach star revealed how she once “riled up” an ex-boyfriend by leading him to believe there was someone else with her while vacationing in Mexico.
In a podcast clip posted to her Instagram Stories, Cavallari recounted, “I’m gonna be honest with you guys, are you ready for this s—? I can’t believe I’m gonna admit this!”
Reflecting on a past breakup without providing specific details, she explained, “Justin, Scoot, and I went to Mexico, and to be a little vindictive bitch—because sometimes I am… only when people f— with me.
Let me just say that. I never go out of my way to p— people off, but if you’re gonna f— with me, I’m gonna f— with you!” The founder of Uncommon James elaborated, “So, it was just the three of us in Mexico. But I posted a little Story of four shot glasses. Four. Just as a big ‘ol ‘f— you!'”
She laughed, recalling, “And man did they get riled up! And little did they know, it was just me and the gays.” Cavallari emphasized her playful approach, stating, “So, listen, if someone wants to f— with you, I’m all about playing a little game like that that’s not like intentionally hurting [someone].”
Acknowledging the nature of her actions, she said, “Well, it is sort of intentionally hurting someone, but that’s harmless, right?” She encouraged other women, “Again, only if they start the fight! We don’t start fights, ladies, but we will fight back, okay?”
Over the video, she added, “Told you guys I would be honest.” The star has been open about her past relationships and breakups on her podcast. Recently, she ended a seven-month relationship with 24-year-old Mark Estes, which PEOPLE exclusively reported last month.
Cavallari discussed the breakup on the October 1 episode, explaining to her listeners, “Mark and I broke up. It’s hard because I broke up with Mark because I just know long-term it’s not right, and it’s not because of love lost or something bad happened.”
She clarified that “no one cheated” or “was mean,” praising Estes as “nothing but sweet and supportive.” “He’s been the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I just know long-term he needs to experience life; he’s young…” she remarked.
Cavallari has also openly addressed her relationship with ex-husband Jay Cutler, with whom she shares three children. The couple married in 2013 but divorced in 2020 after a decade together. On October 18, Cutler faced arrest for DUI and illegal gun possession while intoxicated.
During the same October 22 episode of Let’s Be Honest, where she discussed her playful revenge on her ex, Cavallari reflected on Cutler’s legal troubles. She stated, “I will not be commenting on what happened,” but emphasized, “I do, of course, wish Jay nothing but the best and I do hope that he gets the help that he needs.”
