Currently, Sophie Turner is embracing the cozy vibe of fall fashion! The 28-year-old Game of Thrones star decided to support her friend Taylor Swift by sporting an official Eras Tour crewneck during her stroll around London. On October 25, Turner was spotted wearing the concert merchandise, paired with gray sweatpants, blue Adidas Gazelle sneakers, and black Ray-Ban sunglasses.
While the exact sweatshirt she wore—a dark blue piece that simply states “Taylor Swift Eras Tour” on the front—isn’t available for purchase on Swift’s website, fans can find a similar blue hoodie or a white crewneck featuring the same design. Recently, Swifties have been snatching up the blue sweatshirt on eBay when it appears for resale.
It remains unclear how Turner acquired the popular piece of Swift merchandise. However, she previously shared an Instagram post from July, featuring herself and friends at what seemed to be one of the London stops on Swift’s Eras Tour.
Their friendship spans several years, including moments like Turner cheering for Swift at the 2019 MTV VMAs, the duo spending time together in New York City, and attending a sporting event together last year.
According to sources who spoke with PEOPLE in September 2023, Turner stayed at a New York City residence owned by Swift, 34, during her divorce from Joe Jonas. In her June 2024 cover story for British Vogue, Turner expressed gratitude for Swift, stating that she provided a safe haven for her and her daughters, Willa and Delphine.
“Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year,” Turner shared at the time. “I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me and provided us with a home and a safe space.”
“She really has a heart of gold,” she added. As Turner celebrates the launch of her new series Joan on The CW, she still has a few chances to catch her friend on tour before the year ends.
After performing at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on October 25, Swift will return to the venue for two more nights on October 26 and 27, followed by stops in Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver, which will mark the conclusion of her final leg of shows.
During her recent concert, Swift expressed her gratitude for the joy her fans have brought to the tour, including the signature friendship bracelets that have become a hallmark of the event.
“You’ve created traditions,” Swift shared with fans at the concert, according to a video posted on X (formerly Twitter). “You’ve created this mass movement of joy every time we play a show. And it makes me so proud; it really does.”
“I just showed up one day, and you guys were trading friendship bracelets, and I was like, ‘That’s cool’ — and now there is a giant friendship bracelet on the outside of this stadium,” she added. “It’s so nice of them to do for us — but it’s even nicer of you guys to create things that went so far beyond what I ever expected for this tour.”
