On her first Halloween, Olivia Munn’s baby girl is absolutely adorable. The 44-year-old actress posted an Instagram Reel on October 31 that showcased both her and her baby daughter Méi in costume.
In the charming video, Munn dressed as an Omakase chef, while Méi, born on September 22 with husband John Mulaney, donned onesies designed to resemble salmon, tuna, and egg, effectively becoming a piece of sushi.
Resting her newborn on a “rice” pillow, Munn wrapped her in a “seaweed” blanket for the cute setup. The background voice of the video humorously suggests, “This is such an easy way to make beautiful sushi at home.”
In the caption, Munn wrote, “Omakase for Halloween 🍣 🎃,” and added “Happy Halloween!!” on a photo from the costume featured in her Instagram Stories. Munn and Mulaney are also proud parents of their 2-year-old son, Malcolm.
Recently, Munn shared an endearing video of Méi, who began the clip sitting upright on a couch in a cozy white knit onesie. As the footage progressed, Méi began to wobble and tilted over as she leaned toward the couch cushion. “The slowest fall ever recorded,” Munn humorously noted over the video, while Mulaney commented, “My girl.”
Earlier this month, Munn candidly discussed the challenges she faces in adjusting to being a mother of two. In multiple posts on her Instagram Stories, she playfully remarked that a photo of her staring blankly into the camera served as “proof” she had “made it through last night” with both children.
“Having a toddler and a newborn at the same time is not for the faint of heart,” she wrote in the caption accompanying a selfie of herself, resting her chin on her hand while wearing a casual pink sweater and glasses. In another post, Munn shared a screenshot of her recent Google searches, which included the question: “Why do newborns always stay awake?”
The search results explained that “newborns often stay awake at night because they don’t have established sleep-wake rhythms” and that they “don’t understand the difference between day and night.” With a touch of humor, she captioned the screenshot, “Hope everyone’s having a great night.”
