Anstead embraced the Halloween spirit alongside his 5-year-old son, Hudson. On November 1, the Celebrity IOU: Joy Ride host shared multiple snapshots on his Instagram, capturing their festive celebration.
In one photo, Hudson sported a shark onesie while proudly displaying pieces of candy, and in others, the father-son pair enjoyed their trick-or-treating adventure. “Tell you what…. America knows how to do Halloween!!” Anstead expressed in his caption. “No messing about! And Laguna Beach is an all-community event!”

“Hudzo desperately wanted to be a SHARK and he insisted the missus and I also were part of the shark gang (oh and we did!),” he continued, mentioning his girlfriend, Renée Zellweger. “Fun night but please NO MORE CANDY! X.”
Anstead shares parenting responsibilities for Hudson with ex-wife Christina Haack, 41, and is also a father to two older children, Amelie, 21, and Archie, 18. Earlier in October, Anstead posted a photo on his Instagram Stories featuring Hudson as they enjoyed an axe-throwing outing together.
In the image, Hudson stood in front of a blow-up target, ready to throw a blow-up axe while his proud father captured the moment. “Little axe thrower…” Anstead captioned the picture.
In September, he celebrated Hudson’s fifth birthday by sharing a touching Reel on Instagram, featuring a compilation of cherished photos from Hudson’s life, including a cute snapshot of them together.
“Happy birthday Hudzo! WOW what a privilege it’s been to witness you become a bright, sparkly, funny, brilliant, generous magnetic, talented and kind little man,” Anstead began his heartfelt message.
