Michael J. Fox is joyfully honoring his youngest daughter, Esme, on her special day. On November 3, the 63-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute in celebration of Esme’s 23rd birthday.
“Esme, Happy birthday to our renaissance gal,” he wrote in the post. “You do it all.” His affection for her was evident as he added, “Your Dood loves you very much. Who doesn’t? Keep living your best life. 😍♥️.”

Alongside his touching words, the proud father included a series of photos showcasing Esme. The first image features her standing in front of a building adorned with an outdoor seating area decorated with vibrant flower boxes.
The next photo captures Esme dining at a restaurant, dressed in a white slip dress layered with a sheer rhinestone-covered fabric, accessorized with a large earthy-colored flower necklace.
The last picture shows Esme in a white tank top and jeans, sitting on the floor by a dresser while playing with a dog. Fox and his wife of over 30 years, actress Tracy Pollan, share Esme, along with their son Sam, 35, and twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, both 29.
Pollan, 64, also posted a birthday message for Esme on Instagram, writing, “I love you @esmeannabelle Happy Birthday!!! I love absolutely everything about you and I am blessed to be able to explore the world with you! You are my heart 💜.”
Earlier this month, during a Back to the Future panel at Los Angeles Comic Con, Fox mentioned that he isn’t sure if his daughters have seen the iconic 1985 film.
“I don’t know if my daughters have seen it,” he shared with the audience. He further discussed the importance of portraying various characters in the sci-fi comedy, stating, “We had expectations. We took that pretty seriously. We want to be great.”
