Vanessa Hudgens has a talent for valuing the simple joys in life. Several months after welcoming her first child with husband Cole Tucker, the 35-year-old actress shared a series of selfies on Instagram. In a post dated Monday, November 4, she captioned her photos, “Miss rarely takes pics any more ✌🏽.”
The first image featured the High School Musical star wearing a jersey that paid tribute to the legendary hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest, flashing a peace sign with her right hand. The next photo showed her puckering her lips in a close-up shot while donning a black t-shirt and a brown furry bucket hat.
She continued her selfie spree with a mirror pose, showcasing an oversized sweatshirt alongside a glass of wine and a candle. The final image highlighted her in a black hoodie, sporting two high pigtails.
Cole Tucker, who tied the knot with Hudgens in December 2023, expressed his affection in the comments with a series of heart emojis: “❤️❤️❤️.” While details regarding their child’s birth date, sex, or name remain undisclosed, Hudgens confirmed the news of the baby’s arrival in July.
She expressed her disappointment over the media’s intrusion, stating on her Instagram Stories, “We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media. Despite all of that, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy.”
The announcement of her pregnancy occurred during the 2024 Oscars, where she proudly showcased her baby bump in a black, long-sleeved, floor-length gown. Earlier in May, Hudgens shared her vision for parenthood in an interview with E! News, expressing her desire for her future children to see her body of work as they grow.
“I’ll show my kids all my work. That’s why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age,” she noted.
