Princess Kate revealed in September that she had completed preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis. Since then, a royal expert has suggested that the Princess of Wales has resumed her fitness routine and is growing stronger each day.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, royal biographer Robert Jobson shared an update on Kate Middleton’s recovery. He mentioned, “Catherine is doing very well. She is back in the gym and engaging in all the activities she had been looking forward to.”
Looking ahead, Jobson believes royal fans can expect to see more of the Princess of Wales in the coming months. “I think we will begin to see more of her, and she will not only take on engagements but also continue her work behind the scenes,” he explained.
When discussing Kate’s plans for 2025 and her potential return to a full schedule of royal duties, Jobson noted that her approach will be more selective. “Instead of traveling constantly across the country, like she used to, I believe she will focus on events that have a greater impact,” he said.
“She wants to return gradually, prioritizing what matters most to her—not only because she wants to avoid falling ill again, but also because her perspective has shifted.”
Jobson also pointed out that Kate will continue to prioritize her family over her work commitments. “William is very supportive of her returning, but I don’t think that means we’ll see a large number of engagements in quick succession,” he added.
The Prince and Princess of Wales might also begin international tours next year, according to Jobson. “They will start traveling again, and I expect at least one tour next year,” he explained, with Canada or Italy being potential destinations for the couple.
Jobson also speculated that Kate might take on solo engagements, allowing William to stay home with their children. “Her illness has profoundly changed her life, and she will be making decisions that align with her new priorities,” he said. “Her family remains her top concern.”
