At the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on November 4, Taylor Swift turned the event into a family gathering. Accompanied by her mother Andrea Swift and her brother Austin Swift, the singer was spotted dressed in black, donning a sleek Chiefs bomber jacket.
It was clear that Taylor had passed on her love for the team to her family, as Andrea wore a zip-up jacket with the phrase “in my Chiefs era,” a nod both to the Chiefs and her famous daughter. The moment was truly picture-perfect.
Even though Scott Swift, Taylor’s dad, has long supported the Eagles (the former team of Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason), he has shown affection for the Chiefs. During a 2023 concert in Buenos Aires, he was seen wearing a Chiefs lanyard while watching Taylor perform.
Travis Kelce humorously responded to this on his New Heights podcast, saying, “Got him over to the good side, baby. Just one by one, getting all the good ones to come on over.” Taylor’s appearance at the game came just a day after she wrapped up the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour, with her final three-night stint in Indianapolis.
On Instagram on November 4, the singer took a moment to thank her fans and remind them to vote in the upcoming presidential election on November 5. She wrote, “Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last 3 American shows!!
And here’s a friendly but extremely important reminder that tomorrow is the US Election and your last chance to vote.” Earlier in September, Taylor publicly endorsed Kamala Harris, following in the footsteps of many other celebrities.
