Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were treated to a thoughtful gesture by the Chicago Bulls during their recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on November 7. The couple, who are both athletes, received matching Bulls jerseys personalized with their names during the game at the United Center in Chicago.
The team’s mascot, Benny the Bull, was seen presenting the jerseys to the pair in a video shared on the Bulls’ Instagram. In the footage, Biles and Owens express their gratitude with a “thank you,” proudly displaying their new jerseys for photos. Benny the Bull also added a playful touch by draping gold chains featuring the Bulls’ logo around their necks.

The bold red jerseys sported black lettering with the couple’s last names and the number 36, a nod to Owens’ NFL number while he played for the Chicago Bears. The Bulls captioned the post with the fun phrase, “a GOAT, a Bear, and a Bull ⚡️.”
Since beginning her relationship with Owens, Biles has shown strong support for Chicago sports. She has frequently attended his games, often sporting Bears gear.
During Owens’ Bears game on September 29, Biles shared an intimate moment on Instagram Stories, where the couple shared a kiss before he headed into the stadium. She accompanied the post with a sweet “🤎🐻” in reference to her husband.
Owens has also demonstrated his support for Biles. During his NFL off-season, he traveled with her on her Gold Over America Tour. Biles shared moments from the tour, including her husband interacting with other gymnasts like Paul Juda and Yul Moldauer, and even attempting some gymnastics moves himself. In a playful Instagram Story on October 18, Biles joked, “Should we add him to the cast?”
In addition, Biles has shared heartfelt posts expressing how fortunate she feels to have Owens in her life. One post, featuring photos from the Milwaukee stop of the Gold Over America Tour, highlighted a surprise visit from Owens, accompanied by the caption, “Struck gold with this one 🫶🏾.”
Owens opened up about the importance of mutual support in their relationship in an interview with PEOPLE in July, ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
He emphasized the role consistency plays in excelling in sports, saying, “I love watching [it] from an athlete’s perspective because that’s how you’d be great in any sport, is just being consistent and doing the same thing consistently good every day.” He added that he enjoys cheering for Biles and being by her side.
