The first meeting took place in 2016 at the wedding of Chenoweth’s niece, where Bryant’s band, Backroad Anthem, performed. Their paths crossed again in 2018 when Backroad Anthem played at Chenoweth’s nephew’s wedding, and this time, sparks flew between them.
Chenoweth opened up about their journey during an appearance on The Jess Cagle Show, recalling that although they initially noticed each other, both were in other relationships at the time. It wasn’t until the summer of 2018 that their connection truly blossomed when they reunited at the second wedding.

Known for his musical talent, Bryant has been a part of the country-rock band Backroad Anthem since 2012. The band has performed across the country and opened for acts like Chris Young and Josh Turner.
