Josh Hall is moving forward without letting his ex-wife, Christina Haack’s recent comments about their relationship affect him. On Nov. 18, he posted a serene image of a Tennessee sunrise on his Instagram Stories, showing lush green hills and an American flag in the frame. Accompanying the peaceful view was a clip of The Rascals’ song “A Beautiful Morning.”
The timing of this post comes shortly after Haack, 41, opened up about the challenges of filming their upcoming HGTV show The Flip Off, particularly following their split. She shared with Entertainment Tonight that shooting the show alongside Hall was difficult due to the tension between them.

Haack described the experience as less than enjoyable, explaining, “When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything.” She went on to reveal that she held back her own shine to avoid making Hall feel emasculated.
“But who wants to live like that?” she added. Haack further admitted that it wasn’t fun and felt relieved once they were no longer filming together. She also suggested that Hall’s departure from the show made things easier for her, noting it would have been challenging to continue with him on set.
In her comments, Haack implied that Hall was uncomfortable with her relationship with her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. “Hall doesn’t like our dynamic, because Tarek and I have our own dynamic, and some could call it ‘flirty,’” she shared. Haack described it as a sibling-like bond, explaining that the dynamic didn’t sit well with Hall.
Hall filed for divorce in July, citing “irreconcilable differences” after nearly three years of marriage. His request for spousal support was met with Haack’s counterclaim, asking the court to deny both of them spousal support.
The couple’s divorce proceedings have been centered around their property in Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee, where Haack owns a luxurious farmhouse. This house also serves as the backdrop for her HGTV show Christina in the Country.
According to a legal agreement filed in September, Hall could stay in the farmhouse as long as it was not being rented out after moving out of their $12 million mansion in California. Haack later listed the property for $4.5 million in October, but Hall filed an ex parte to prevent a sale, which Haack opposed. By November, Haack removed the home from the market.
The couple, who began dating in March 2021, made their relationship public that summer. After a secret wedding in October 2021, they celebrated with a second ceremony in Hawaii in September 2022 surrounded by family and close friends.
