Sutton Stracke shared an amusing story about Kyle Richards, revealing the reality star’s boldness when it comes to pursuing movie stars. On the November 20 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Stracke recalled a conversation with Richards about her flirtation with Yellowstone star Kevin Costner during a trip to Aspen.
Stracke recalled, “Kyle and I have this conversation, she was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there. And she was, like, trying to hook up with Kevin Costner.”

The remark was met with laughter from the group. Stracke continued, “I don’t think that Morgan’s the end all, be all because she [Richards] really wanted [him].” She jokingly added, “It’s not all about Morgan, there’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there.” Despite Stracke’s amusing anecdote, it seems there’s no evidence that Costner was aware of Richards’ interest.
Rumors surrounding Richards’ relationship status gained momentum during the recent season of RHOBH, particularly after she and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, separated following 27 years of marriage. The speculation intensified after Richards shared a near-kiss with country singer Morgan Wade in Wade’s music video in August 2023.
Earlier this month, Richards, 55, reflected on last year’s RHOBH reunion, where she revealed her questioning of her sexuality. She also discussed a conversation she had with her four daughters — Farrah Brittany, 36, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16 — and her reasons for addressing the rumors.
“The fact that there were so many rumors out there, I took that opportunity to have that conversation with my daughters to be able to say to them, ‘Listen, we know what’s being said, but this is where I stand and how I actually feel, and I’m sharing this with you because I’ve always led by example,’” Richards explained.
“For me as a mom, I want my kids to always be able to come to me with the hard conversations and know that they’re going to be loved and accepted no matter what — and they are my best friends.”
Although nervous about how her daughters would respond, Richards was overwhelmed by their support. “The reaction I was met with just blew me away with all four of my daughters, and I felt so loved and so supported,” she recalled.
“Just honestly, it is one of my most proud moments as a mom to see their reaction and what they said to me. They just want me to be happy. They’re like, ‘We just want you to be happy and that’s all we care about.’”
