Despite holding a vice-presidential role at the software firm Afiniti, Beatrice is not considered a working royal like her cousin, Prince William. However, she does serve as a royal patron for several organizations, including the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, the British Skin Foundation, and the English National Ballet School.
Beatrice embraces family priorities while contributing to select royal events
In November, the princess attended the King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles exhibition in London, where she interacted with students and explored embroidery projects. Such engagements are typically associated with King Charles or Queen Camilla, prompting discussions about Beatrice’s potential transition to a working royal role.
A palace insider, however, clarified the situation to Hello! magazine, explaining that Beatrice’s involvement is not part of a broader shift in her royal responsibilities. “She may assist with events occasionally, like the Prince of Wales’s garden party earlier this year, but it’s purely about supporting her family,” the source said.
Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, have also been offering more personal support to their father. Amid efforts to address the Duke of York’s struggles with maintaining Royal Lodge, the sisters have reportedly been spending more time with him.
According to a source, they frequently bring their children for weekend visits, demonstrating their close bond with Prince Andrew. The insider added that Prince Andrew, a passionate equestrian, has even been teaching Beatrice’s young daughter, Sienna, how to ride.
