Julianne Hough responded playfully to former NFL player Danny Amendola’s flirtation during the season finale of “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday. Following the freestyle routine performed by Amendola and his dance partner, Witney Carson, who were dressed as Ken and Barbie, the duo joined Hough on a large prop bed to receive their scores.
“How does it feel to dance as Ken?” the 36-year-old co-host inquired of the 39-year-old athlete. Amendola cheekily replied, “I think the real question, Julianne, is why are you in my bed?” Carson, 31, quickly turned away in surprise, prompting Hough to directly address Amendola’s playful comment. “Is that an invitation?” she playfully teased before shifting focus back to the task at hand. “Let’s get your scores!”
Recently divorced from former NHL player Brooks Laich in 2022, Hough revealed on “DWTS” that she is currently single and open to dating. “Well, you know, I am single and I’m looking for a guy anywhere I can find one,” she joked during the Nov. 19 episode.
Her co-host, Alfonso Ribeiro, humorously advised viewers, “If you’d like a date, text Julianne’s first name. Message and data rates may apply.” During the finale, the judges awarded Carson and Amendola an impressive score of 29 out of 30 for their performance.
Despite this, former “Bachelor” Joey Graziadei and his professional partner, Jenna Johnson, were announced as the winners of Season 33. Graziadei, who showcased a freestyle and a cha-cha redemption dance to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and District 78 featuring Jake Simpson’s “Canned Heat,” expressed his excitement about winning the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
“It means everything,” he shared with viewers. “Thank you for bearing with us. I tried my best, I promise!” The 29-year-old reality star added, “I feel like Jenna deserves this fully and it’s all for her.”
