Former Vanderpump Rules Stars Join The Valley for Special Appearances

Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, and Scheana Shay join the cast of The Valley

The shift from one era to another continues as familiar faces from “Vanderpump Rules” reportedly make their way to “The Valley.” Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, and Scheana Shay are expected to appear in the spinoff, which recently concluded filming for its second season in September. While their presence has been confirmed, the extent of their roles remains unclear, according to reports from Deadline.

“The Valley,” which debuted in March, introduced “Pump Rules” alumni Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, and Brittany Cartwright alongside a fresh group of friends, including Luke Broderick, Danny and Nia Booko, Jesse and Michelle Lally, Jason and Janet Caperna, Jasmine Good, and Zack Wickham. Returning for its second season, the cast captured key events over the summer, such as Doute’s engagement and Taylor’s mental health journey and turbulent divorce with Cartwright.

Scheana Shay teases drama involving Jax Taylor and their shared past on her podcast

During the first season, both Kent and Shay made quick appearances, reflecting their ongoing friendship with the group. Shay hinted in October that she might return, sharing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that she has stayed close with the cast. Similarly, Kent recently shared updates on her relationships with her “Valley” connections, confirming she remains close with Cartwright but has distanced herself from Taylor.

Taylor, however, expressed reservations about having more “Vanderpump Rules” stars join the spinoff, stating on his podcast “When Reality Hits” that the show should focus on its unique identity rather than becoming an extension of its predecessor. Shay later responded on her own podcast, teasing that Taylor might fear her and Kent exposing truths.

As Bravo announced a revamped “Vanderpump Rules” featuring a new cast of SUR staff, Kent, Shay, and Schwartz shared mixed emotions online. Kent expressed gratitude for the years of support, while Shay reflected on the show’s legacy and longevity.

Schwartz added a nostalgic touch by posting a fan-made video featuring memorable moments from the series. Although Bravo has confirmed plans for the updated series, production has yet to begin, and details about the new cast and premiere date remain under wraps.
