Cardi B addressed speculation about her finances after fans questioned her decision to collaborate with Shein. This followed her post promoting the fast fashion brand, which sparked comments from fans puzzled by her partnership, given her reputation for wearing high-end luxury labels.
In a voice recording shared on X, Cardi dismissed claims she relies on brand deals, emphasizing her financial independence. She stated she could effortlessly secure deals worth half of $65 or $70 million and revealed she spends about $3 million monthly.
Referencing a text she had posted earlier, Cardi highlighted a tour offer in September that proposed $1 million per show with half the amount payable upfront. She clarified this negotiation occurred during her “off year.”
The rapper explained she prefers to hold off on signing tour contracts until her next album is announced, expecting higher offers afterward. Cardi stressed the importance of strategic moves over appearing desperate, pointing to her calculated approach to business decisions.
Her last album, Invasion of Privacy, came out in 2018, and she has been teasing new music. Despite criticism of her Shein promotion, with some likening it to a luxury enthusiast endorsing budget airlines, many fans defended her.
They pointed out her history of affordable fashion collaborations, such as her early work with Fashion Nova, asserting that Cardi has always embraced budget-friendly beauty alongside her high-end taste.
Meanwhile, Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson made their red carpet debut as a couple at The Museum Gala in New York City. The former Patriots coach looked sharp in a black tuxedo, while Hudson matched his elegance in a black off-the-shoulder gown with a high slit. The couple, rumored to have been living together, posed for photos before entering the venue.
Their public appearances have become more frequent, with Hudson sharing glimpses of their relationship on social media. Recently, she posted Halloween photos of their fisherman-and-mermaid costumes and summer highlights, including a trip to Croatia.
Belichick and Hudson reportedly began dating in 2022 after his split from Linda Holliday. Their story began serendipitously on a 2021 flight when Belichick signed Hudson’s textbook.
