Kate Cassidy, Liam Payne’s girlfriend, has made her first appearance on TikTok since the tragic death of the One Direction singer on October 16. Over the weekend, the influencer posted a montage video showcasing some of their most cherished moments together throughout the years. The heartfelt compilation included clips of the couple holding hands, dancing, kissing, and cuddling in bed, capturing their love for each other.
Accompanied by the poignant song “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star, Cassidy captioned her touching tribute with the words, “I love you.” This emotional post quickly drew an outpouring of condolences and support from fans and fellow influencers in the comments section.
Former “Love Island USA” star Leah Kateb expressed her sympathy, writing, “I am SO sorry baby and sending you so so much love. Let me know if you need ANYTHING.” YouTuber Sabrina Quesada added, “I’m so sorry. You’re gonna get through this I promise.”
One fan thanked Cassidy for her love, saying, “Thank you for loving him till the end,” while another user expressed deep empathy, stating, “thank you for the unconditional amount of love you showed him. The fandom respects you so so much, Kate. My heart breaks for you.”
Cassidy shared this emotional video shortly after attending Payne’s funeral on November 20, where she was joined by his former One Direction bandmates—Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson—as well as his family. She was seen arriving at the private service near London with her friend, Damian Hurley, the son of Elizabeth Hurley.
Following Payne’s passing, Cassidy had been residing in London, but sources have indicated that she has returned to the United States. Before his death, the couple was living together in a rental home in Wellington, Florida, which is now on the market.
Just days before his untimely death, Cassidy had been traveling with Payne in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for two weeks before she returned to Florida alone. The 31-year-old “Teardrops” singer tragically died after falling three stories from his hotel balcony.
Having dated Payne since October 2022, Cassidy paid tribute to him on social media one week after his unexpected death, writing, “I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam.” She also shared, “You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.”
