Support for Selena Gomez has been quietly expressed by Hailey Bieber. The 28-year-old model and founder of Rhode showed her support by “liking” Gomez’s Instagram post from December 11, which announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.
In the post, the 32-year-old star of Emilia Pérez shared a series of photos, including a close-up of her marquise diamond ring and a snapshot of herself with Blanco, 36, embracing under the caption, “forever begins now.” Another image captured the proposal setting, featuring a beige picnic blanket and several boxes of Taco Bell, a known favorite of the singer.

Blanco playfully commented on the post, saying, “hey wait … that’s my wife.” Having collaborated for years, Gomez and Blanco worked together on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” alongside Tainy and J Balvin before their romantic relationship began in June 2023.
In August 2023, Gomez released “Single Soon,” a track produced by Blanco. By December 2023, she confirmed their relationship by liking fan accounts on Instagram that featured the couple, even commenting, “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” on one post. The pair made their first red carpet appearance together at the 2024 Emmys in January.
Hailey addressed persistent rumors of a feud with Gomez during a discussion on Alex Cooper’s podcast in September 2022. She emphasized that it is “not [her] character to mess with someone’s relationship,” and expressed that there is “all love” between herself and Gomez.
“I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody — that’s the end of it,” Hailey clarified regarding the timeline of her relationship with her now-husband Justin Bieber, 30.
Gomez and Justin began dating in late 2010 but broke up in 2016. They briefly rekindled their romance in October 2017 before parting ways again. In September 2018, Justin married Hailey in a civil ceremony in New York, followed by a larger celebration in Bluffton, South Carolina, a year later.
Shortly after her interview on Call Her Daddy, Hailey and Gomez were photographed together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ second annual gala in Los Angeles, appearing friendly. In one picture, Gomez rested her hand on Bieber’s leg, and in another, they smiled while standing side by side.
