During a big event at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, Donald Trump was joined by his wife, Melania Trump, and daughters Tiffany and Ivanka Trump. This appearance occurred just hours after he was recognized as Time’s “Person of the Year.”
Dressed in a classic blue suit and red tie, Trump rang the opening bell while his family, along with the crowd, cheered and applauded in support. Tiffany, who is expecting her first child with husband Michael Boulos, opted for a black blazer adorned with gold buttons to conceal her baby bump, while Melania, aged 54, wore a stylish gray suit. Ivanka, standing next to vice president-elect JD Vance, was dressed entirely in black.
Expressing his gratitude, the 78-year-old Trump described being named “Person of the Year” for the second time as “an honor.” On NBC’s “Today” show, Time’s editor-in-chief, Sam Jacobs, explained that the president-elect received this recognition because “for better or for worse, [he] had the most influence on the news in 2024.”
Jacobs further noted, “This is someone who made a historic comeback, who reshaped the American presidency and who’s reordering American politics,” adding that it’s undeniable that the individual moving into the Oval Office is currently the most influential figure in the news.
Previously, Trump was awarded the prestigious title in 2016 after winning the presidential election against Hillary Clinton. This latest announcement follows months after the billionaire businessman revealed his daughter Tiffany’s pregnancy with enthusiasm.
CNN reporter Alayna Treene mentioned on X that Donald announced the exciting news during an event at the Detroit Economic Club in October. Treene shared that the father of five expressed admiration for Tiffany, calling her “a very exceptional young woman” and remarked, “She’s gonna have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Tiffany and Boulos started dating in 2018 and celebrated their marriage in a lavish Florida ceremony in November 2022. At the wedding, Donald proudly walked his youngest daughter down the aisle at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
