Just a day after her boyfriend James Kennedy’s arrest for domestic violence, Ally Lewber seemed to be in high spirits. On Wednesday night, the 28-year-old astrologer took to her Instagram Stories to share highlights from the Windsor Pre-New Year’s Eve party she co-hosted at the Short Stories Hotel in Los Angeles.
In the brief clips, Lewber could be seen conducting interviews, delivering a speech to her guests, and confidently walking the carpet solo. Dressed to impress, she wore a stunning black dress adorned with gold snowflakes, complemented by eye-catching sparkly earrings and black strappy heels.
Elegance meets resilience as Ally Lewber co-hosts a magical holiday celebration
Windsor later shared an Instagram Reel that showcased the festivities, describing the event as “Magical & fun!!!” Kennedy, 32, was absent from the celebration. Lewber hosted the gathering just one day after Kennedy’s arrest, which was reported by TMZ.
The DJ was taken into custody after authorities responded to a domestic dispute at his Burbank, California home, where witnesses allegedly saw him grab the unidentified woman involved in the altercation.
Despite the confrontation, police later informed TMZ that the woman did not show any visible injuries. A representative for Kennedy has not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment. Kennedy and Lewber, who have been in a relationship since 2022, were seen enjoying themselves at Kathy Hilton’s annual holiday party mere hours before his arrest.
Kennedy has been candid about his struggles with substance abuse, while Lewber has acknowledged the strain his drinking has placed on their relationship. In a 2023 episode of “Vanderpump Rules,” she expressed, “I like you better when you’re not drinking, but I’m not gonna tell you [not to]. I think when you’re in control of it, you’re fine…”
During the Season 11 premiere in January 2024, Kennedy shared that he was “not drinking” and instead focusing on “meditating every day.” “I don’t think I will ever drink again. Ally definitely didn’t give me an ultimatum this time.
This is 100 percent my decision. Technically I am still California sober. It just makes my day better,” Kennedy explained, referring to the practice of abstaining from alcohol and drugs, with the exception of marijuana.
