Reports indicate that Kit Hoover and Crowley Sullivan are ending their marriage. According to a Wednesday article by People, the “Access Hollywood” host and Sullivan are separating after 25 years together. Although Hoover, 54, and the CEO of Athlete Advantage have not publicly commented on the situation, a source told Us Weekly that she has been referring to herself as “single” for some time.
The insider revealed, “She’s been telling people she is single and getting divorced,” in the article released on Wednesday. Page Six reached out to Hoover’s representatives but did not receive an immediate reply.
Speculation about the couple’s split grew after Hoover stopped sharing photos of Sullivan on her personal Instagram account in recent months. Additionally, she has been seen without her wedding ring in social media photos and videos leading up to the reported separation.
On Tuesday, she posted pictures from the set at Universal Studios in Hollywood, obviously absent her wedding ring. Hoover, who married Sullivan in 1999, previously honored their 24th wedding anniversary with an Instagram tribute in August 2023.
In that post, she expressed gratitude, saying, “Holy Cow – We are 24 years old in this pic and NOW – Happy 24th anniversary Honeybun!!! Thanks for loving this lunatic and for our beautiful family that is my EVERYTHING. I love you. #stillhavingfun #stilltheone #grateful #joyfulliving.”
The post included a throwback photo along with a more recent picture of the couple, who share three children: daughters Campbell and Hayes and son Crowley. In May, Hoover appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and suggested that the dynamics in her marriage might be shifting as they adjusted to being empty nesters.
“I’m in a transition period,” she shared with Clarkson. “Empty nest, my kids are getting up and out. I’ve been a mom for so long. That’s a weird thing. What does my relationship look like with my husband? Like, ‘Hey, nice to meet you again.’”
Clarkson encouraged Hoover to view this change positively, suggesting that she and Sullivan could “date again,” to which Hoover responded, “You gotta date again.”
