Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon opted for a quiet holiday retreat in Carmel, Calif., according to a source who shared details with PEOPLE. Following the conclusion of filming for F1, Pitt’s upcoming action-packed movie about Formula 1 drivers, the actor enjoyed a well-deserved break.
“He’s thrilled about the project and had a great time working on it,” the insider revealed. After celebrating his 61st birthday on Dec. 18, Pitt spent the festive season in Carmel with de Ramon, who marked her 32nd birthday a day later. “He loves the privacy the area offers,” the source added.
Pitt and de Ramon’s relationship has been in the spotlight since late 2022. Last year, she joined the actor for his 60th birthday celebration among close friends, and the couple was last spotted together at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 50th birthday party on Nov. 9.

On Dec. 30, PEOPLE confirmed that Pitt finalized his divorce settlement with Angelina Jolie, ending an eight-year legal battle that began when Jolie filed to dissolve their two-year marriage. A source close to Pitt stated, “He’s expressed for a long time his desire to move past this chapter.”
The film F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, stars Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a driver returning to the sport after a career-altering crash. The cast also includes Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem.
Alongside his role in F1, Pitt is also involved as a producer on several projects, including Nia DaCosta’s Hedda and Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17, set for release on March 7. Pitt and de Ramon’s relationship has reportedly grown deeper over time.
