The Sandman is a tv series based on the critically acclaimed comic book that has the same-named which was written by Neil Gaiman. The story of the show follows a wizard that wants to capture death to bargain for eternal life. He instead traps her younger brother Dream instead of her. Fearing for his life, the wizard keeps Dream imprisoned in that glass bottle for many decades but he ultimately escapes his prison. Upon his awakening, he goes on a quest in search of lost objects of power.
