The end credit scene of Morbius is one of its kind. Morbius is an average movie released on March 10, 2022. Although it failed to impress the audience, it perplexed them with the post-credit scene. It is yet another Marvel movie coming straight out of the Marvel comics of the same name. Morbius is the third installation in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU). Directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Morbius features Jared Leto in the lead role. The story unfolds when Morbius and his surrogate brother become living vampires in an attempt to get themselves cured of the rare blood disease.
This film was special, and the audience was eagerly waiting for it as there have been attempts to take Morbius on the big screen since 1998. It got many production houses but all in vain. Sony began developing this film in 2018, writers had already written the script, and the actors were finalized. Filming was completed in 2019, but it got delayed for many reasons. Finally, it was on March 10, 2022, that it got released. However, the audience’s response was so inadequate that it could be said that the SSU was expecting too much from it. The film proved to be a disaster at the box office.
So, What made the movie a topic of discussion? Yes, you guessed it right, the post-credit scene. So, if you cannot stay for the film, wait for its post-credit scene. It can give you some excitement. So, let’s understand what happened there.

What Happened In The Post-Credit Scenes?
Since Sony only has rights to Spider-man and characters that appear in Spider-man comics, they cannot use any MCU character in their movies. However, under a special deal, Sony has allowed Disney to use some of these characters, and in return, Disney has allowed Sony to feature Tom Holland’s Spider-Man alongside Avengers. However, here is the catch; In a rare few moments, Morbius’ post-credit scene has showcased a Marvel character.
In the film’s finale, Morbius kills his surrogate brother, turns into an enemy brother Milo (played by Matt Smith), and turns Martine (played by Adria Arjona) into a vampire. Credits rolled, and there we see it, a purple portal (earlier seen in the Spider-Man: No Way Home) appears over the skyline, and then none other than Adrian Toomes, a.k.a Vulture comes right out of it. In yet another post-credit scene, Morbius drove for an appointment in some desert and met Toomed, who now has his full-winged Vulture exo-suit. He does not know he ended up there and knows only that it is the deed by Spider-Man.

Did you realize what they did there! They made us super confused. But, we as fans have every right to know what will happen. It appears like Sony has extended its right and is planning to set up Sinister Six: A classic group of Spidey villains and bring it to the big screens. The studio has been trying to do it for several years by now. In the movie Amazing Spider-Man 2, released in 2014, we got the idea that Harry Osborn is bringing together many bad guys.
However, the series was called off by Marvel, and they replaced Andrew Garfield with Tom Holland’s MCU Spidey. So, do the post-credit scenes hint at a “We are again coming together?” Damn! If that is the case, then things are seriously going to get super interesting. We are surely going to get some action and a lot of entertainment.
