No story is final. No character death means the end for them. They can always come for a cameo or in a flashback or even with a full-fledged series situated 100-200 years back. Yes, that’s Star Wars for you! If keeping track of all the shows has been difficult, don’t worry. We have bought you a list of the Top 10 Star Wars TV shows and movies coming soon.

10. Star Wars: Andor TV Series (August 31, 2022)

The rebel spy Cassian Andor will have his own Spy thriller live-action series, which will hit Disney+ Hotstar in late August this year. The Series will focus on the events and actions of Andor before the events of Rogue One. Luna, Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma), Forest Whitaker (Saw Gerrera), and Alan Tudyk (K-2SO) are expected to come back for their roles in the Series.

There was news about Tony Gilroy being the frontman of The Rogue one but it looks like he is replaced by Black Mirror’s Toby Haynes. The Series will follow Andor and the missions which he will undertake.

9. Tales of the Jedi Animated TV Series (Fall 2022)

The tales of the Jedi have always been a familiar name in the Star Wars universe. And the franchise has never shied away from an animated series. Instead, animated Series seems like a more intelligent and fun way to adapt a comic book. What other way than to bring the live-action of comic books onto the screen?

The Series is expected to show the Jedi order in the before Era and focus on characters like Ahsoka and Count Dooku (with Qui-Gon Jinn also appearing).

8. The Mandalorian: Season 3 (February 2023)

The Series was a huge hit once it hit the screens on Disney+ Hotstar. It became one of the most successful Series ever of the Star Wars franchise. The Series took a year off to make room for The Book of Boba Fett, but it is hitting the screens again, it seems.

Pedro Pascal will reprise his role as Din Djarin, and many old names are expected to make a comeback in the first-ever live-action Series fleshed out by Star Wars. The Series will follow Djarin as he will follow his responsibilities once gaining the lightsaber.

7. Star Wars: Ahsoka TV Series (2023)

The most hyped-up Series ever in the Star Wars Universe. Ahsoka is finally getting the recognition the character deserves in the form of its very own Series. The Series was conceived after the popularity of Ahsoka from the Mandalorian Series. Since its conception, possible plotlines for the Series were beginning to be teased in The Mandalorian.

The Series will focus on Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano. The writing of the Series is done by Dave Filoni, and the production began in April 2022. The Series has no official date for its premiere, but we are hoping it will be sooner rather than later.

6. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (formerly “Grammar Rodeo”) TV Series (2023)

How can we keep calm when a brand new live-action series by Star Wars is in the works by the director of Spider-Man: No Way Home Jon Watts. What, are we in the Multiverse by any chance? The cherry on the top is that the Series will feature Jude Law in the titular character.

The show will follow the Post Jedi reconstruction Phase. There are few details about the series yet, but according to a source, ”the show is being described as a galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.”

5. Star Wars: Acolyte (TV series)

The 2020 InSeries Day event was a massive event for Star Wars. Many new shows were announced, and one among them was Acolyte. The series will be set in the High Republic era, 200 years before the events of the original trilogy. The Jedi will be at their strongest in this timeline.

The show is said to be a mysterySeriesler kind of genre that will have a threat from the Dark side. The creator writes it of Netflix’s show Russian Doll. The rising threat from the Drak side and the Jedi’s strength will surely be a treat to watch.

4. Lando (TV series)

The Empire Strikes back saw the debut of a robust character named Lando Calrissian, who was portrayed by Billy Dee Williams. Donald Glover was also robbed to portray Lando in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Both the actors played the character in different Star Wars stories.

Although the details of the series are not disclosed as of yet, it is confirmed that a series centered on the character of Lando is established, which will stream on Disney+ Hotstar. There is no confirmation on who will play the cSerieser of Lando.

3. Untitled Star Wars project by Kevin Feige

Kevin Feige is the president of Marvel Studios. He has created some MARVELous (pun intended) movies under the MCU banner. They are no details on the contents, cast, and the dates of the film. The project was announced way back in 2019. With the Covid-19 pandemic, everything got delayed in response to the shows.

The reason this show is up here in this list is that if the show is actually in the works, it will be a great MCU and Disney crossover. The question will remain whether Feige will make one movie for Disney or become its frontman like in the Marvels.

2. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (In Development)

Director Patty Jenkins announced this movie “This story will introduce a new generation of starfighter pilots as they earn their wings and risk their lives in a boundary-pushing, high-speed thrill ride. The legend of Rogue Squadron has been long beloved by Star Wars fans and will move us into a future era of the galaxy.”

The movie was officially expected to hit theatres in the Christmas of 2023, but due to various “creative differences” between the director and the executives, it will not release anytime soon.

 1. Untitled Star Wars project by Taiki Waititi (film)

Taika Waititi is famous for directing movies like Jojo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok, for which he also won Academy Awards. And we can always trust Waititi’s vision when it comes to film. And him directing a Star Wars movie? Yes, please! The film is still in the early stages of work and is expected to hit it off in 2025. It will be a ride to enjoy a star wars movie under Waititi’s direction.

That was it from our side. Stay tuned to theartistree while you wait for the shows as mentioned earlier and movies to premiere!
