Marvel has always been famous for providing some of the best characters in their Cinematic Universe. And why wouldn’t they? They are not ordinary humans. They are superheroes. And what are superheroes without their grandeur? Heroes like Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man have always been the first ones we remember while talking about superheroes. Still, Marvel introduced a new character in 2018 to the world called The Black Panther. Based on the Marvel Comics of the same name, MCU adapted this superhero into a movie of its own which came to be liked and praised for its diversity. The film was a rare specimen of its time because of the kind of diversity it bought to mainstream cinema.
People have consistently grown up watching and wanting to be like these superheroes. But the representation of these heroes is diversified from almost zero to none. While most superheroes are white males, Black Panther provided an opportunity to explore a superhero of uncharted territories. Black Panther became the first comic to introduce a black superhero. The Prequel to Black Panther 2
The movie first came in 2018. It fuses the African culture with Marvel’s impressive superhero streak very effectively. The story is set thousands of years ago when all the African tribes were apparently at war for a metal called Vibranium. One of the soldiers in that war ingests some exotic herb and becomes the first Black Panther. T’Chaka rules the nation of Wakanda, where they use this metal Vibranium for research.
With the growing advancements in metal, there are dealers wrongfully using them. There are various dealers in the Black Market. One of them is T’Chaka’s brother N’Jobu. T’Challa returns to Wakanda after his father’s death, and the movie follows his journey to becoming their king.
Filming Locations Of Black Panther 2
The Black Panther sequel was released and started to develop in 2019. But with the unfortunate demise of its protagonist, Chadwick Boseman, the movie had to make several revisions in the script. The filming of the film began in the June of 2021.

One of the earliest filming locations for the movie was MIT, West Campus in Atlanta. The film began shooting in and around campus under the working title of Summer break. According to a confirmed source at the campus,’ a scene was seen being filmed outside of Stratton Student Center near the Kresge Oval, and a daytime scene in the same sequence, by the front entrance of Simmons Hall.”
Another confirmed location for the movie is Ritz Carlton Hotel and Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The film has been delayed repeatedly due to various injuries suffered by the cast and the covid-19 pandemic. According to the confirmed sources on the location, the set built up in the hotel resembles the time of the Colonisation of the Americans. So, the movie could have a sequence like that. The costumes of the extras hired were also of a different time. Nevertheless, it would be stimulating to see the new Black Panther Movie: Wakanda Forever!
