After an infinite number of delays, NASA is set to launch James Webb Space Telescope. We will be able to watch the launch live. The launch will be live from the French Guiana launch site of the James Webb Space Telescope. NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, US, and the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Today, i.e., 12th July 2022, NASA will offer detailed views of the universe for the first time. The images will be released during NASA’s live broadcast starting at 8 PM.
James Webb Space Telescope
James Webb Space Telescope is one of the most complex and largest space telescopes ever built worldwide. Unlike Hubble, it is stronger and tougher as it is built with a huge infrared telescope. With a 6.5-meter-long primary mirror, James Webb’s telescope can capture light stretched over space and time. This light will convert to infrared wavelengths. Once this telescope has unfolded in space, it will start collecting data. Then, it will provide us universe’s long past.
The telescope will explore the greatest history of all time, i.e., Cosmic History. It will provide us with every single detail of the universe. The telescope will cover everything from our solar system to the galaxies of the early universe. James Webb will also reveal the universe’s origins and help humankind learn more about their universe.
How to watch James Webb Space Telescope’s Launch

More about the Launch
- The International Committee of representatives of NASA has selected the full-colored scientific images and spectra data. The International committee representatives are as follows:
- The European Space Agency
- The Canadian Space Agency
- Space Telescope Science Institute
The list given below are full-colored Scientific Images and Spectra Data:
The list given below are full-colored Scientific Images and Spectra Data:
Carina Nebula
It is one of the brightest nebulae in the sky. Nebulae are clouds of gas and dust in outer space and are referred to as “stellar nurseries” because that is where stars are formed. As the stars are formed here, Carina Nebula is clouds of gas. It is also the home of the large stars, even larger than the Sun.
WASP-96 b (Spectrum Data)
WASP-96b was discovered in the year 2014. It is a giant planet located nearly 1,150 light-years away from Earth. It orbits its star every three to four days and has a mass that is half of Jupiter. This planet is entirely cloud-free and has a large amount of Sodium.
