The Idol Teaser Starring The Weeknd And Lily-Rose Depp Is Out Now!
The Weeknd partnered with HBO to create this series, The Idol. It was a highly anticipated series, and the first teaser has created even more buzz around it. The trailer opens with bold red letters written in Old Hollywood style, saying “from the sick and twisted minds of” Euphoria creators. And SOLD! The popularity of the latter show is enough to market this upcoming series too.
The teaser felt like we are in a spin-off series of Euphoria itself. It had the same dark carnivalesque party tone of the show. People aimlessly indulge in drugs, sex, and booze. You know it is a Sam Levinson show for sure. The contrast is the 80’s Hollywood background lurks behind in the teaser. The colorful Hollywood mansions and huge amounts of cocaine ingestion are at the center of the teaser.
