The Rookie is an American highly rated TV show which is liked by many. It was created for ABC by Alexi Hawley in 2018. Rookie is a crime drama centering on the real-life-based police department of Los Angeles. The hit series stars actors like Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Mekia Cox, and more. The first season ran until 2019, and its success shocked its makers and motivated them to release more seasons. The last (fourth) season premiered on September 26, 2021. The fans are excited for a brand new season 5, announced recently.

The series revolves around John Nolan, a newly divorced 44-year-old man. He starts a new journey to be a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). He is one of the oldest rookies on the team and hence faces challenges that others don’t have to. This series highlighted the reality of how old officers, who are over the age of 33, are often denied to provide their services.

Rookie Season 5 Release Date And Where To Watch: Everything To Know About Rookie Season 5!

It’s too early to discuss the synopsis of a brand new season. Although, people have started anticipating what would happen and have their theories. Fans have big dreams of togetherness for Bradford (Eric Winter) and Chen (Melissa O’Neil). They ended the last season with a kiss; hence it will be interesting to see their future in season 5. People are skeptical about how this would be shown as, in the end, it is a crime drama, and romance does not go well with crime shows.

Undoubtedly, Rookie season 5 will follow the main character, officer Nolan. He would be shown doing more amazing things in his police career. The new season will be available to stream on Hulu along with all the older seasons. You can binge-watch it on Sunday, September 25, at 10 pm ET/PT.
