Each member of an idol group has special skills and qualities. There is usually a member of each group who is loved by their fans for their adorable fairy-like charm. There is no denying the physical attractiveness of K-Pop idols. It is difficult to choose the greatest since it relies on your particular choices among those with stunning good looks and incredible talents.

The top 15 made an effort to reduce the field with their yearly list of the “15 finest K-pop boy group members of 2022,” which was chosen by a combination of reviewers and fans. The idols who reached the pinnacle are:

1. Kim Taehyung (BTS)

Kim Tae-Hyung, a musician from South Korea, goes by the stage name V. (Korean: born December 30, 1995). His dream was to be a saxophonist. Early in middle school, he began taking saxophone lessons to achieve this goal with the support of his father. V eventually made it through an audition in Daegu and was hired by Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee.

Kim Taehyung was accepted at Global Cyber University in 2015 after he accomplished his studies at the Korean Arts High School in 2014, and he began his studies at Hanyang Cyber University’s Master of Business Administration in Advertising and Media program in 2021. Because of his agency’s desire to maintain his anonymity, fans were unaware of him and his ability, making him a hidden treasure.

However, he is currently the town’s most attractive bachelor. Under the band name, V has released three solo songs, “Stigma” (2016), “Singularity” (2018), and “Inner Child” (2020), all of which have reached the top 100 on the Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea. The self-penned digital tune “Scenery,” which he independently published in 2019, was V’s first single. Along with bandmate Jin, he also had an appearance on the soundtrack for the 2016 film Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.

 

2. Jungkook (BTS)

South Korean singer-songwriter Jeon Jung-kook, often known by his stage name Jungkook (also written as Jung Kook), was born on September 1, 1997. He is the main singer and youngest band member of the South Korean boy group BTS. In Busan, he went to Baekyang Elementary and Middle Schools.

He moved to Seoul’s Singu Middle School after he was hired as a trainee. When he was younger, Jungkook first wanted to be a badminton player, but after watching G-Dragon perform “Heartbreaker” on television, he changed his mind and to be a singer instead, and he decided to forego the CSATs, Korea’s national university admission test, in November 2016.

He obtained his diploma from the Broadcasting and Entertainment Department of Global Cyber University in March 2022. He received the school’s top distinction, the President’s Award too. With BTS, Jungkook has recorded three solo songs: “Begin” in 2016, “Euphoria” in 2018, and “My Time” in 2020. All of these songs have reached the top 100 on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.

 

3. Jimin (BTS)

South Korean singer and dancer Park Ji-min, also known by his stage name Jimin (Korean: born on October 13, 1995), went to Yongsan Middle School and Hodong Elementary School in Busan, and he studied popping and locking dance during his middle school at the Just Dance Academy.

Jimin studied contemporary dance at Busan High School of Arts and excelled in the modern dance course before becoming a trainee. Further, ended up at Big Hit Entertainment after a tutor advised him to try out for an entertainment firm. Jimin received a degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment from Global Cyber University in August 2020.

He also studied Master of Business Administration in Advertising and Media in 2021 at Hanyang Cyber University. He recorded three solo songs under the BTS nickname: “Lie,” “Serendipity,” and “Filter.” The song “Lie” was released in 2016 as a part of the group Wings, their second Korean studio album.

 

4. G-Dragon (BIGBANG)

Kwon Ji-Yong, commonly known by his stage name G-Dragon (Korean: born August 18, 1988), is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, businessman, and fashion designer who is regarded as the “King of K-pop.” He mixed dance, hip-hop, and R&B in his debut album, Heartbreaker.

Numerous honors have been bestowed to G-Dragon, including seven Mnet Asian Music Awards, six Melon Music Awards, two Korean Music Awards, two Golden Disc Awards, and two MBC Entertainment Awards. In addition, he was the first and only solo artist to win the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Award for Artist of the Year.

 

5. Jackson (GOT7)

Jackson Wang, a Hong Kong rapper, singer, dancer, record producer, clothing designer, and director of music videos, was born on March 28, 1994. He is the creator of the recording company Team Wang and the creative director and chief designer of the clothing line Team Wang Design. Wang was born and raised in Hong Kong and joined the K-pop boy band Got7 of JYP Entertainment in 2014.

He created Team Wang in 2017, following which he started releasing solo songs in China and other countries. In 2019, he unleashed his debut solo album, Mirrors, which peaked at number 32 on the US Billboard 200. Wang departed JYP Entertainment in 2021 and started the Panthepack Chinese hip-hop group under Team Wang.

 

6. Kim Namjoon or RM (BTS)

Kim Nam-Joon, formerly known as Rap Monster and born on September 12, 1994, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer of the music. BTS, a South Korean boy band, has him as its leader. As a first-year middle school student, he started rapping in local amateur hip-hop scenes in 2007. In school, RM achieved an IQ of 148 and placed in the top 1% of the country on the university admission exams’ language, math, foreign language, and social studies sections.

RM released his first mixtape as a solo artist in 2015. RM  published his second mix in 2018, and when it debuted at number 26 on the US Billboard 200, it became the highest-charting album by a Korean solo artist in the history of the charts. He has also collaborated with artists including Lil Nas X, Wale, Warren G, Gaeko, and Krizz Kaliko.

7. Jinyoung (GOT7)

Jinyoung was born on September 22, 1994, in South Korea, well known as an actor and songwriter. He is a part of the JJ Project boy band and the Got7 boy band. Although he was raised in Yongwon-dong, Jinhae-gu, he is a native of Udo Island, Jinhae-gu, Changwon, where his grandparents live. Since his fifth year of primary school, he has had aspirations to be a performer and to appear on television.

When Jinyoung was in his sixth year of school, his mother sent him to an audition for SM Entertainment against her opposition, understanding that if he didn’t get the job, he would give up. Nevertheless, he got up to the third and final preliminary round and was given the popularity prize.

He made his acting debut in the 2012 television series Dream High 2. He then played several supporting parts until landing the lead in He Is Psychometric (2019) and the indie film A Stray Goat.

 

8. Park Jae Sang or PSY

South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer by the name of Psy (stylized as PSY) was born Park Jae-sang on December 31, 1977. Psy is well-known both locally and internationally for his chart-topping song “Gangnam Style,” as well as for his funny stage acts and videos. One of the most well-known phrases of 2012 was the song’s refrain, which was included in The Yale Book of Quotations.

His “Gangnam Style” music video amassed more than one billion views on YouTube on December 21, 2012, making it the first video ever to accomplish so. Later, the media referred to Psy as the King of YouTube. Two billion people have seen Psy’s “Gangnam Style” video as of May 31, 2014. It has had over 4 billion views as of March 2022, ranking it as the twelfth most popular video on YouTube.

 

9. J-Hope (BTS)

J-Hope is a well-known South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer, and record producer. In 2013, Big Hit Entertainment signed him to the South Korean boy band BTS, where he made his debut. In 2018, J-Hope released Hope World, his debut solo mixtape.

He made history in 2019 when his song “Chicken Noodle Soup,” which featured Becky G, debuted at number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100. He was the first member of BTS to do so. J-first Hope’s studio album, Jack in the Box, was released in 2022.

 

10. Jaemin (NCT)

Na Jae-min, also known by his stage name Jaemin is a well-known South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, and actor and one of the members of the South Korean boy band NCT, and he mostly promotes NCT Dream, a fixed sub-unit. On August 13, 2000, Na Jaemin was born in Jeonju, South Korea.

He was born and raised in Seoul, where he attended Incheon Cheong-il. Elementary School, Incheon Haewon Middle School, and the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA). At the age of 13, Jaemin was hired as a trainee by SM Entertainment after being street-cast by employees while distributing flyers and picking up garbage as a volunteer with his mother at an event.

Jaemin’s inclusion in the SM Rookies was formally revealed on April 22, 2015. Jaemin was officially announced as the third member of NCT Dream, the third sub-unit of NCT, on August 20, 2016. On August 24, he made his official debut with NCT Dream’s digital single “Chewing Gum.”

 

11. Jin (BTS)

Kim Seok-jin, also known as Jin and born on December 4, 1992. He is a South Korean singer, composer, and a member of the boy band BTS. he has three solo singles featuring BTS—”Awake,” “Epiphany,” and “Moon”—have all been successful on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. The digital single “Tonight,” Kim’s first solo song, was released in 2019.

He also contributed to the 2016 music for Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth with bandmate V.  Kim’s falsetto and emotional range as a vocalist has garnered favorable reviews. In addition to singing, Kim hosted several South Korean music shows from 2016 to 2018. Together with his bandmates.

 

12. Suga (BTS)

Suga is a well-known South Korean songwriter, producer, and rapper. He made his debut in 2013 as one of the members of BTS, and he had his first single mixtape Agust D in 2016, and he ranked number 13th in Gallup Korea as the most preferred idol of the year in 2017, and 7th in 2018, and 9th in 2019.

 

13. Hyunjin (Stray Kids)

South Korean rapper and singer-songwriter Hyunjin (Hyunjin; Korean & Japanese ) is a member of JYP Entertainment. He serves as the face of the boy band Stray Kids. He joined Stray Kids on March 25, 2018, with the release of their first mini album, I Am Not.

 

14. Soobin (Tomorrow X  Together)

South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, and MC Soobin are signed to BigHit Music. He is the TXT boy band’s leader. Soobin was introduced as the second member of TXT, the newest boy band from Big Hit Entertainment, on January 13. He is frightened of water (i.e., he is afraid or phobic of water). He is unable to swim as a result of his severe anxiety.

On March 4, 2019, in The Dream Chapter: Star, the group’s marked his formal entrance. The next MCs for the KBS 2TV music program Music Bank will be Soobin and OH MY GIRL’s Arin, it was revealed on July 20, 2020. They then presented their debut program on the broadcast on July 24. Soobin and Arin aired their final Music Bank program as the MCs on October 1, 2021.

 

15. Mingyu (Seventeen)

Mingyu is a rapper from South Korea who performs as part of the boy band Seventeen for Pledis Entertainment. He was created in Gyeonggi-do, Anyang-si, South Korea. He is Seventeen’s primary rapper and is referred to be the group’s “Face.” He is a member of Seventeen’s Hip-Hop Unit as well. In the second grade, he was street-casted by Pledis employees near Burim Middle School.

From Seoul Broadcasting High School, Mingyu graduated with Broadcasting Content Major. He attended the same high school as Dino and Seungkwan. He did receive a casting offer from another agency prior to joining Pledis, but he chose not to attend the audition.

The music video for SEVENTEEN’s “Snap Shoot” was entirely conceived, executed, shot, and edited by Mingyu. While still a trainee, he shared a job with S.Coups working in a cafe on the side. Mingyu studies K-Pop in the department of media and arts at Dong-ah University.
